AT Print
AT Print
AT Print is a component(DLL) for controlling printer settings. It may be called from any programming environment.
It is useful for obtaining programmatic access to printer settings not available programmatically from the application printing out the document.
Why use AT Print
- Override shared printer driver defaults
- Control Duplex and Simplex programmatically for the whole or parts of a document
- Force black and white printing when printer color mode is set to automatic by default, and there is virtually no colors in the document (may be a blue hyperlink only).
This is a potentially big money saver
Usage:
- Called from VBscript and JavaScript, it requires the DLL to be registered. From VBA or other environments able to call "C DLLs" (not COM/ActiveX),
there is no need for the DLL to be registered.
